Research Peptides — Verified Before They Ship

Independently verified · Research use only

Every lot tested before it ships, with the certificate published for you to read

Why a purity number on its own tells you nothing

Anyone can write “99% purity” on a product page. The number only means something if three things are true: an independent laboratory produced it, the analysis is tied to the specific lot in your vial, and you can read the document yourself before you buy.

Most suppliers fail at least one of those. Some publish a single certificate that never changes regardless of which batch ships. Some test in-house. Some show no document at all and ask you to take the label on trust. We publish a certificate per lot, produced by a third-party US laboratory, linked from the product page.

How each lot is analysed

Step 01 · Identity

Mass spectrometry

Confirms the molecular weight of the compound matches the target. This is what establishes that the material is the peptide it claims to be, not something adjacent to it.

Step 02 · Purity

HPLC

High-performance liquid chromatography separates the sample and measures what proportion is the target compound. This is the figure reported as purity.

Step 03 · Documentation

Lot-specific COA

Results are issued against the lot number printed on your vial and published for that lot, so the document and the material in your hand refer to the same batch.

How to read a certificate of analysis

If you are comparing suppliers, these are the five things worth checking on any COA — ours or anyone else’s.

1
Lot number. It should match the number on the vial you received. A certificate with no lot reference cannot be tied to your material.
2
Laboratory name. An independent third-party lab, not the seller’s own bench.
3
Test date. Recent, and after the date the lot was produced.
4
Chromatogram. The actual HPLC trace, not just a typed percentage.
5
Mass spectrometry result. Observed molecular weight against the theoretical value for that compound.

Questions we get asked

Are these products for human use?

No. Everything supplied is a reference material for in-vitro laboratory research. Nothing here is intended for human or veterinary use, and nothing on this site should be read as a medical claim.

Do I get the certificate for the exact lot I receive?

Yes. Results are issued against the lot number printed on the vial, and that lot’s certificate is published on the product page. You can read it before you order rather than after.

Who performs the testing?

An independent third-party laboratory in the United States. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry and purity is measured by HPLC.

What does shipping cost and how long does it take?

$15.00 flat on orders under $75, free at $75 and over. Orders ship FedEx Express 2-day from the United States, cold-chain packed, with same or next business day handling.

How is the material supplied?

As a lyophilized powder in a sealed vial. Reconstitution solution is available separately in the catalog above.

Is there a discount for paying by bank transfer?

Yes — paying by ACH takes an additional 5% off the order total.

What happens if a vial arrives broken or the wrong item ships?

Those are covered and handled by replacement. The full terms are in the refund and returns policy.

How do I know the purity figure is real and not just a claim?

That is the point of publishing the chromatogram rather than a number. The certificate shows the actual HPLC trace and the mass spectrometry result, issued by a lab that is not us, against the lot you are buying.
